Band News 04/11/2008
So much has happened since I wrote anything here....
- I kicked all our members out of band couple of weeks ago. I was just too tired and frustrated, because those members just weren´t active enough. I thought that I should continue as solo artist, but then:
- Pekka came back from holiday and he is now our new bass player and we got another new finnish member now. Leo will start to play drums as soon as he has learned to play those. So our whole band is now finnish and that should help us....my english isn´t really great, so it´s much easier to just write finnish with other band members.
- We released our new album and it has sold 62 216 copies after 2 weeks = 578 609 euros for our band. Our last single "Raining" has now sold 671 263 copies = 1 456 641 euros for us!
- Our rock ranking is really going up now and we are number 263 now!
- I hope we can start recording our new single soon....

Good and bad news:
Bad news first:
- Scott left our band yesterday. Well...maybe it´s better for us and Scott. Now he can have solo career and we can do what we want. Maybe there was 2 too strong persons in our band. I didn´t want to do what Scott asked, so he had to go...
- Our rock ranking is now 427, which is our worst ranking after all members joined our band. Maybe we have so bad ranking now, because so many members has left our band....
Good news:
- We released our new single "Raining" and it has sold 430262 copies = 933668 euros for us! Now I can give good bonuses for all band members... :)

Great news again this week:
- Our video "Raining" was released this week.
- Our last gig in Oslo was little bit better than our shows has been lately. We played "good(13/26)" gig there.
- Next week we are going to release our new single: "Raining/Angels Walk Amongst Us," so we will again start to earn some money too.... :)
- Rock ranking is going up and it´s now 363!
- Our video "Raining" was released this week.

Well, we´re here in N.Y. and we are going to record 2 new tracks for our single & video if we got enought time. Songs will be "Angels walk among us" and "Raining."

Some bad news:
- I had to kick Emilia out of our band, because she hasn´t been so active as she should be and she is in hospital again.
- Our rock ranking is still going down: 354.
Some good news:
We have now recorded 2 new songs: "Everything was beautiful" and "We´re not Angels."

Well, I haven´t been writing here lately, but that just because there hasn´t really been any good news for couple of weeks. Our band ranking has been going down and it´s now 340.... :(
I have been writing new songs, but it takes so much time to get them ready. Our gigs have been little bit better lately, so maybe our rock ranking will start to go up again soon.

Just good news again:
- Our last 2 shows (Helsinki + Tallinn) have been the best ones we have played since we got our band together!
- Rock ranking is now 245, so we´re still going up.... :)
And something about my own real life: it´s my birthday tonight, but maybe I will save my partying until Friday evening...

Yeah, this is good day for our band! Reasons:
- Our tour finally begins from Glasgow tonight.
- Our new single has been released last night. It has sold 348484 copies so far, so we have now earned 756210 euros from that single...maybe I should give a little bonus for every member of our band.
- Our rock ranking is now 265, so we´re going up again.

Some DVDs again
Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare DVD
Another cheap DVD, I bought this couple of months ago. I couldn´t really watch this then and I can´t watch this now. Just awful: I love Alice Cooper´s music, but sound and picture on this DVD are so bad, that I just can´t watch this! Well...maybe I will check my better Alice Cooper DVDs. Maybe this DVD was made when Alice was drinking "little bit" too much. He has been saying that he don´t remember anything about doing 3 albums and those shows, this DVD was recorded in the year 1975, so this one might be one of those shows he don´t remember...... :)
Hanoi Rocks: The Nottingham Tapes DVD
Same DVD again, but I just love Hanoi Rocks. The best band in the whole world. They got everything I need: they can play rock, punk and beautiful ballads(listen to "Until I get You".)

So here we are in Montreal waiting for tonight´s gig....
Our rock ranking in Popmundo is now 257 and we´re going up again. There´s 60090 rock bands in this game, so we are pretty good!!! Our best ranking was 195 when I was still solo artist, but it has taken some time to get our band together. Soon we will release new single and start our "Neverending Tour" from London, so I think our ranking can just go up! .....we´ll just have to record that b-side of our new single and I have to write new songs. Of course other members and I need to learn new skills + try keep our health and mood up.
Otherwise this "holiday" has been actually rather boring...just staying here for so long and I really miss my "Gypsy" friends (http://www.freewebs.com/krisstark/index.htm), but we really needed that. It might have been impossible to start touring without this holiday. Everyone in our band was too tired to start long tour. So we will see what happens next: we will have a gig almost everynight, so it´s not easy to keep your health and mood up. ....and I have to write those songs, we would really need 2 people in this band who could do songs....

We have lot of rehearsals, but we need them now: we need to get rid of those "2 stars songs," so we must learn new and better ones before our european tour begins. Also we will get more experience points if we do something everyday...
PS. One really important tip for everyone: don´t forget to buy condoms!!! Someone might get pregnant, if you don´t remember to use them. You can find condoms from almost any "generic shop" in every city. You can find them from "Clothes(Underwear!)"
