Real Life 11/04/2009

I will be offline until Sunday. Reason: this band.

Real Life 27/02/2009

I saw this band live tonight:
D.A.D.: It´s After Dark
D.A.D: Sleeping My Day Away
D.A.D: Grow Or Pay

Well, they might be big band in Denmark, but they were playing for about 200 people here in Finland, so I was able to see them much closer. :)

After this night, when I saw 2 bands playing rock music it´s time for some 80´s pop here:
Sandra: Little Girl
Sandra: Around My Heart
Sandra: Secret Land
Sandra: We´ll be Together
Sandra: Midnight Man

I could actually post almost all Sandra´s songs from 80´s here, those songs were so great, but maybe I also post another great band from 80´s: A-HA. That might the best band from Norway ever...at least pop band, there are some black metal bands too, but maybe I will post those another time. Well, A-HA is another pop band from 80´s that I could post too many songs here....

A-HA: The Sun Always Shines On Tv
A-HA: Hunting High And Low
A-HA: Stay On These Roads
A-HA: Summer Moved On
and their biggest hit:
A-HA: Take On Me

...and thank you WMG: cant see these vidoe anymore....

...and after that rock night I´m so drunk that I can hardly speak or write even finnish.... :) It´s 5.00 am here in Finland, maybe I should sleep, but I still have too much energy left thanks to "some" brandy and beer. :) I shouldn´t write anything here when I have been drinking, but fortunately there´s nobody here who says what I should write and I´m going leave here whatever I will write....

In my real life I´m going to see live performance by swedish band called Backyard Babies tonight, so I will post couple of their songs now.
Backyard Babies: Brand New Hate
Backyard Babies: Minus Celsius - Swedish TV 2004
Backyard Babies: The Clash
Backyard Babies: A Song For The Outcast
Backyard Babies: U.F.O. Romeo

....and couple extra songs, which really doesn´t have anything else to do with Backyard Babies except that this band had 2 ex-members of Hanoi Rocks(Andy Mccoy and Nasty Suicide) and Hanoi Rocks singer Michael Monroe has done some work together with members of Backyard Babies & Backyard Babies had some influences from Hanoi Rocks, specially when they were starting their band.
Suicide Twins: Sweet Pretending
Suicide Twins: Silver and Nightingales
Suicide Twins: Heaven Made You
Suicide Twins: The Best Is Yet To Come

One more thing ex-members of Hanoi Rocks have done(actually there were just Nasty Suicide in background band of this video.) :)
Samantha Fox: Do Ya Do Ya
S. Fox also did cover of Suicide Twins´song "The Best Is Yet To Come:"
Samantha Fox: The Best Is Yet To Come

Music for Saturday Night

Quireboys: a Bit of What You Fancy DVD

Some british blues-rock. Actually this isn´t official DVD, but I have just transferred their official VHS tape to DVD, so I can watch this again and again. Their singer has really great voice and songs are so good with lot of feeling. Spike(their singer) has that voice you can only get if you drink lot of whisky and smoke cigarettes or he just got that talent....maybe he has done both...
Favorite songs: 7 o´clock, I Don´t Love You Anymore and Hey You.

Actually most of our band´s songs got some inspiration from them....that´s why we´re mostly playing british blues-rock songs...

Quireboys: Bitter Sweet and Live DVD

Another official VHS release transferred to DVD by myself. Filmed at The Town + County Club in October 1992. If you like to party, this is really good music for that! Of course younger kids might have different music, but because I´m about 30 years old....so this is my music for partying....
Favorite songs: just everything right now!

Hanoi Rocks: MTV3 Max -Video 2008

This show is from finnish TV(maybe not their best gig...I have seen much better ones, stage was just too small for Mr. Michael Monroe.) So, having a career of 28 years they are still here! This is finnish band, but now actually there are now more swedish members in this band. Of course main song writers are still finnish: Michael Monroe and Andy Mccoy. They are now almost 50 years old, but just check what kind of live show they still can do, specially M. Monroe: there isn´t even 18 year old kids who could that! They do live shows around whole Europe and Japan, so check them! They will have gigs in UK soon.... (http://www.hanoirocks.info/tour/index.htm)

Other music tonight:

Just more Hanoi Rocks from Youtube.com: In the Year 79, Problem Child, Oriental Beat, Lightning Bar Blues, Back To Mystery City (live '85), Blitzkrieg bop, Until I Get You ...those old videos ....

And some songs live from Japan:
- HANOI ROCKS @ Summer Sonic 8/8 Up Around The Bend
- HANOI ROCKS @ Summer Sonic 4/8 Malibu Beach Nightmare
- HANOI ROCKS @ Summer Sonic 6/8 Tragedy
(These live songs are from the year 2002, when they started Hanoi Rocks again...)

Real Life

This has been really nice day for me: holiday, drinking some really good tasting spanish brandy and listening to music whole day....
One more DVD and then I´m going to sleep:

Billy Idol: VH-1 Storytellers
Little bit of rock and punk music mixed together. Again one star from 80´s! The best songs: Don´t Need a Gun, Flesh for Fantasy, Sweet Sixteen, Rebel Yell and L.A. Woman.

Personal life today

Listening some Joy Division (Unknown Pleasures cd) right now....everyone should know this band! One of the most important bands. Listen "She´s lost control" and of course "Love will tear us apart." Really great songs! ....and some Hole:"Violet." Still remembering those grunge days. :) And some punk today: Cryptic Slaughter - Stream Of Consciousness.....
